Overnight 24/7 Attendant Care Needed for Female Client with TBI

A kind and independent woman is seeking compassionate and experienced caregivers for 24/7 attendant care. Due to a history of multiple car accidents resulting in a traumatic brain injury (TBI), she requires support with daily living activities.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Female caregivers, 30 years or older
• Experience working with individuals with TBI
• Strong focus on honesty and communication

Responsibilities:

• Home organization & light housekeeping to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment
• Meal preparation
• Fall prevention assistance – Client experiences occasional dizzy spells, affecting balance
• Transportation (once per week) for grocery shopping and errands (medical transport is arranged separately)

Additional Details:

• Client is coherent and ambulates independently , occasionally using a walker
• Two cats in the home – caregivers should be comfortable with pets
• Clean and organized living environment

Our hiring requirements include: CPR, TB, Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance policy with your name listed on the policy.

Responsibilities:

• Perform duties outlined in patient's plan of care
• Monitor patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise
• Observe the client’s physical, mental, and emotional conditions/ document and record changes in the patient condition
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment
• Assist with daily living activities, such as dressing or taking a bath
• Adhere to professional standards, facility care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements

Skill Requirements:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to utilize computers/tablets and computer software
• Strong patient service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to carefully follow protocols and rules regarding the patient's care
• Ability to address minor medical issues

Documentation requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Valid CPR Certification
• Background Check
• Negative TB test results
• Auto Insurance with your name listed on the policy
