AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Architectural Design Intern to join our Philadelphia, PA office for a summer internship. This opportunity is ideal for students currently enrolled in an accredited professional Architecture program who are interested in gaining hands-on experience within a global architectural and engineering firm.
AECOM offers interns access to development resources designed to support early‑career growth. Interns gain practical experience through on‑the‑job learning and may participate in networking opportunities, learning sessions, and exposure to AECOM’s design culture and professional practices.
Imagine working alongside experienced architects and engineers on rewarding, multi‑faceted projects while developing your technical and professional skills. Working at AECOM means being part of a collaborative global team and learning from industry‑leading professionals. Interns will be exposed to architectural projects across multiple markets, with a primary focus on transportation architecture, including rail and aviation facilities.

Minimum Requirements
Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited professional architecture program or related field and must have completed at least 1 year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
