A growing MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support large-scale commercial projects, including data centers, hospitals, and complex institutional builds . This is a key role working closely with preconstruction and operations teams to deliver accurate, competitive estimates on high-value projects.
• Prepare detailed electrical estimates for large commercial projects
• Perform takeoffs, scope reviews, and cost analysis
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and preconstruction teams
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor pricing
• Identify value engineering opportunities
• Support bid submissions and client proposals
• Track project costs and maintain estimating databases
• 3–7+ years of electrical estimating experience within an MEP or electrical contractor
• Experience with large-scale projects (data centers, healthcare, industrial, or similar)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Experience with estimating software and takeoff tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Work on high-profile, complex projects (data centers & hospitals)
• Strong pipeline of work and long-term stability
