Position Summary The HR Generalist will report to the CEO and be responsible for balancing tactical and operational HR administration to drive success. The position will be primarily responsible for helping to define and lead organizational structure, acquiring talent, administering pay, benefits and leave policies, onboarding new team members, training and development and maintaining compliance with company policies, state and federal laws and industry practices.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in managing multiple simultaneous projects, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.
This position is onsite at our client’s office in Jacksonville, FL.

The position will be primarily responsible for helping to define and lead organizational structure, acquiring talent, administering pay, benefits and leave policies, onboarding new team members, training and development and maintaining compliance with company policies, state and federal laws and industry practices.
Duties/Responsibilities :
- Lead recruitment efforts in partnership with hiring managers to attract a diverse pool of candidates, define job descriptions, and post positions externally online and with recruiting firms.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, orientation, background checks, employment references, and exit procedures
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files including compliance with Medicare/DMEPOS accreditation standards
- Utilize best practices to administer and improve company policies and procedures to promote a collaborative team environment in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Optimize current performance management procedures to promote high performance while promptly addressing areas for improvement.
- Lead employee training and development programs to capture industry related training and continuing education to ensure outside team members are consistently meeting industry qualifications.
- Assist in employee relation issues including attending and advising in performance management meetings and provide counsel with disciplinary actions. Track and maintain documentation and assist in investigations as necessary.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to CEO or corporate attorney.

- Able to quickly learn and implement HRIS and talent management systems.

Education/Experience: - Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Life Sciences).
- 2-4 years of experience in HR Generalist and/or management (or HR related position)
- 2+ years recruiting talent and administering HR programs
- HRCI PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus
- Demonstrated history of success in partnering with hiring managers to recruit, train and retain top talent in rapidly growing businesses.
- Experience in medical device, life sciences, or biotech industries preferred.
Compensation & Benefits - Compensation $60k-$80k Base (Flexible/Negotiable DOE)
