job summary:
Mechanical Design Engineer for a leading manufacturing company based near Ball Ground, GA. This role is responsible to develop designs in support of new and existing products to customer-specific requests.

responsibilities:

• Developing designs in support of new and existing products that meet DFM guidelines to customer-specific requests

• Design, develop, and test new products and product improvements

• Execute projects utilizing CAD software creating 3D models and assemblies and drafts of parts components and assemblies.

• Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions

• Provide product specifications and Bills of Material

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Proficient in 3D CAD (Solid Edge and/or Solid Works)

• Manufacturing environment experience
