Job Description

Infinity Natural Resources (NYSE: INR), is an oil and gas exploration and production company deeply rooted in the Appalachian Basin. Headquartered in Morgantown, WV, we are committed to responsible energy development, operational excellence, and strong environmental stewardship across our growing operations in Ohio and Pennsylvania. We pride ourselves on a collaborative work environment, a team dedicated to innovation and safety, and our strong connection to the Appalachian Basin, the region we proudly call home and operate within.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Pipeline Operator to join our Midstream team. In this position, you will be responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our pipeline systems. Your primary focus will be ensuring the safe, reliable, and compliant transportation of hydrocarbons. If you are a proactive problem-solver who prioritizes safety and is committed to optimizing pipeline integrity and system performance, we invite you to apply.

Location
Based out of our Quaker City field office, this field-based role provides operational oversight for our pipeline systems and rights-of-way throughout Southwestern Ohio. You will spend your time active across our field footprint, monitoring line performance and ensuring our regional midstream assets operate safely and efficiently.

What You Will Be Doing:
As a Pipeline Operator, your daily responsibilities will span field operations, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. You will:

  • Control & Monitor: Operate and control pipeline systems to ensure the efficient transport of oil and gas products. Execute system start-ups, shutdowns, pressure changes, and flow adjustments.
  • Inspect & Maintain: Conduct field inspections of pipeline right-of-ways, facilities, and equipment to identify leaks or integrity concerns. Manage vital maintenance activities, including pigging operations and equipment repairs.
  • Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve operational issues with pipeline equipment, valves, pumps, meters, and control systems.
  • Respond & Mitigate: Act quickly on alarms, abnormal operating conditions, and emergency situations to mitigate risks and minimize system downtime.
  • Document & Comply: Maintain highly accurate operating logs, inspection records, and maintenance documentation to support regulatory compliance and reporting.
  • Improve: Identify recurring technical issues and recommend smart corrective actions to improve pipeline reliability and process efficiency.
Your Background:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) and 2-5 years of experience in oil and gas pipeline operations, midstream field environments, or pipeline maintenance.
  • Solid working knowledge of midstream pipeline systems, valves, regulators, and measurement equipment, with the ability to operate pipeline assets and execute pigging operations independently under normal conditions.
  • Deep understanding of pipeline safety practices and the ability to meet all PHMSA and DOT criteria for safety-sensitive duties.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass mandatory verification of DOT drug, alcohol, and safety records for the preceding two-year period.
  • Ability to recognize abnormal operating conditions, interpret pipeline pressure/flow data, and respond with the appropriate corrective actions to ensure system and right-of-way integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with field personnel, control room operators, landowners, and stakeholders, working well both independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of accuracy in managing operational documentation, pipeline inspection records, and regulatory-driven compliance logs.
  • Ability to perform medium physical work – including lifting up to 75 pounds – and the agility to climb, kneel, crouch, or reach for extended periods while working on field equipment.
  • Comfort working in rugged outdoor field environments and along pipeline rights-of-way, with exposure to varying weather extremes and remote industrial conditions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, handle extended field shifts, and respond to emergency callouts or travel across the regional pipeline footprint as required.
