Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective, timely solutions
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Install and service water heaters, boilers, piping systems, fixtures, valves, pumps, and drainage systems
• Perform rough‑in and finish plumbing work
• Ensure all work meets Connecticut plumbing codes and safety standards
• Collaborate with contractors, supervisors, and team members on job sites
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used

Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut plumbing license (P‑1, P‑2, S‑1, or S‑2 required)
• 3+ years of professional plumbing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of state plumbing codes and regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience with copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron, and gas piping
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeport, CT.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
