COMPLIANCE NOTES

Registry personnel must bring a state or federal issued photo ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
Agency staff must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine series or present a documented religious and/or medical exemption from their employer
Additional vaccine doses must be obtained where required by law

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct patient/resident care including activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
Monitor and report changes in patient/resident condition to the nursing team
Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and facility protocols
Accurately document care provided in the EMR
Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with infection control and regulatory standards
Support nursing staff with tasks as directed within CNA scope of practice

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

Active state CNA certification - Maine, current and in good standing
CPR/BLS certification - current
Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in a Skilled Nursing / LTC setting
