Job Description

Connect Staffing is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager for a water damage mitigation and restoration contractor in Irvine, CA. This is a long-term placement position paying $50/hr, Monday–Friday with approximately 5 hours of weekly overtime. In this role, you will prepare Xactimate estimates for residential and commercial reconstruction projects and oversee all phases of reconstruction from job assignment through final sign-off. The position includes a company vehicle, fuel card, and bonus potential of $20,000–$50,000+ annually.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field technicians across multiple active reconstruction projects.
• Conduct site inspections, progress walkthroughs, and quality control checks at each project phase.
• Track budgets, cost controls, and change orders to meet cycle-time and margin goals.
• Maintain communication with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams throughout each project.
• Generate job documentation and ensure compliance with carrier and TPA (Third-Party Administrator) requirements.
• Log project activity and documentation using Encircle and MICA.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in water damage mitigation, restoration, or related construction fields.
• 3+ years in reconstruction or insurance restoration project management.
• Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MICA and Encircle (or comparable job documentation and project management platforms).
• Solid understanding of structural repairs, building codes, and insurance estimating practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple reconstruction projects simultaneously under tight cycle-time goals.
• Familiarity with carrier and TPA (Third-Party Administrator) compliance requirements.
• Experience working directly with insurance adjusters on residential and commercial loss projects.
